Hi, I’m Glenn - an educator, creative, and someone who’s always been obsessed with where things are headed.

For the last 16 years, I’ve taught in higher education – guiding students through the ever-shifting world of art, design and communication. But my work has always gone beyond that. I've helped them to see the bigger picture – spotting shifts, adapting to change, and understanding how creativity, technology and society collide.

I don’t just teach these things, I live them. Alongside education, I’ve worked as an illustrator, designer and video creator for a range of clients – making things that speak, move and connect. I’ve been hands-on with digital tools since the early 2000s, long before most people were talking about ‘creative tech’. And I’ve kept pace ever since – not just using the tools, but watching how they shape the world around us.

What fascinates me most is the way technology changes people – the way it reshapes not just industries, but the very fabric of society. AI, Web3 and Automation aren’t distant concepts – they’re forces already rewiring the world we live in. And as someone who straddles both education and creative practice, I get to see the shift from both sides – in theory and in real life. Through lectures and in the studio, I explore the present and the future.

Layered Future is my way of making sense of it all – and helping others do the same. I’m not here to hype the next big thing, or push some utopian tech fantasy. I’m here to explore what’s happening – honestly, critically, and accessibly. Through blogs, talks and visuals, I aim to peel back the layers – revealing not just where tech is going, but how we can find our place in it.
